You can have the opportunity to sell next to, right to, & maybe even buy from, some of Chicago’s most interesting and pleasant antique dealers, part-timers, neighbors, vintage slingers, pickers, thrift store warriors, and representatives of kindred trades! One day only! The Wicker Park Committee’s often sporadic, potentially semi-annual Antique and Junque Sale returns to both sides of Schiller, west of Damen to the alley. Sat. June 2nd, (“Do Division” weekend.) What’s the ding? Spots are $35, $20 for WPC members and Pritzker families. Tables may be rented for $20, all proceeds from table rentals go to the Pritzker School PTO. (Wicker Park Committee individual membership dues are $15 per 4 continuous quarters. Why not join? The money’s the same) Times? 7-8 am drop off/set up, 8 am “gates open” to the public, and a 4 pm teardown. What can you sell? Old, antique, vintage, and garage sale items*. New items are discouraged, but we’ll certainly consider repurposed/made from vintage/green/local items. But no new imports. *utilitarian used household items, clean usable clothing, books, tools. We won’t have any electricity so electronics will be tough to sell. You may secure a spot (or spots) by mailing a check made out to the Wicker Park Committee for at least half of the space rent, (and all of the membership dues if your going that route) along with your contact information, type of items you’re planning to sell, # of tables required and any helpful suggestions to-
